He is 31, well into his years, but not nearly as old as 27...he's the perfect mix- young enough so he's not Shaquille, and old enough to have a lot of experience. The question was who's better, Kobe or LeBron not who's better, the Lakers or the Cavs! I believe that the Lakers are a better TEAM than the Cavs this year even though the Cavs have the best record in the NBA. Yes! Kobe has "4 rings in his hands" but you cannot forget that 3 of the 4 rings came courtesy of the 3-time NBA Finals MVP Shaquille O'Neal. Kobe was a vital contributer, but he WAS NOT the leader on those 3 teams. Simply put, if you switch Kobe for Lebron, the Lakers would a better team and would STILL win the championship. The Cavs would not. So, Lebron is just better.

Kobe and the Lakers will win it again this year and util Kobe retires look at the facts, Phil Jackson is the best coach and when he wins it will always be a three peat just like when he was with jordan. The were three peat’s 2 times and when Phil Jackson won with the lakers they were three peats and now its gonna happen again. One thing is for sure Lebron is not a Champion yet so that makes Kobe a better player until Lebron wins then he can be consider among Jordan, Kobe and Bird. Lebron is not a winner because he doesn't take controll of his team like Kobe. First of all, I wanna say that I am a LAKER fan. I've been a LAKER fan since the showtime days. With that being said, I have to give it to Lebron James! Yes!! LEBRON JAMES IS BETTER THAN KOBE BRYANT!!! Anyone who TRUELY understands the game of basketball will have to agree. Now, I'm talking about right now...in the present. I mean, really...what does Kobe Bryant do better than Lebron James? Well, scoring I would have to give a very slight edge to Kobe, though Lebron in currently leading the league in scoring, because they both can shoot the 3, but Kobe's mid-range game and free throw shooting is better than Lebron's. BUT THAT'S IT! Lebron passes better than Kobe. Lebron rebounds better than Kobe. This year, Lebron even defends better than Kobe! Lebron is just the better TOTAL player right now and should win the MVP award this year because he can just flat out hurt a team in more ways than Kobe can...POINT BLANK!!!
