Obviosly, he is a talented individual who has a huge impact on the events of the NBA, but to be frank, Kobe is not an old man. He is 31, well into his years, but not nearly as old as 27...he's the perfect mix- young enough so he's not Shaquille, and old enough to have a lot of experience. Cleveland this year is doing very well, but they only have one star, whereas the Lakers are dominating with two.Kobe is the star, lets face it, and the Lakers aren't giving up...they just killed the Bulls yesterday.

Kobe and the Lakers will win it again this year and util Kobe retires look at the facts, Phil Jackson is the best coach and when he wins it will always be a three peat just like when he was with jordan. The were three peat’s 2 times and when Phil Jackson won with the lakers they were three peats and now its gonna happen again. One thing is for sure Lebron is not a Champion yet so that makes Kobe a better player until Lebron wins then he can be consider among Jordan, Kobe and Bird. Lebron is not a winner because he doesn't take controll of his team like Kobe. Kobe leads his team and has the momentum for all his team when Kobe is Hot his whole team is on fire but if Kobe is cold then thats when they lose. With Lebron, his team knows that he will pass the game winner so they are already ready to take that shot. Ultimately, i believe, like im sure 99.7% of the NBA fans out here, that the Finals will be either: Lakers/Cavs, Lakers/Celtics, Lakers/Magic or MAYBE even Lakers/Hawks. With that being said (excluding the Lakers/Hawks matchup) i break it down like this:

Lakers/Cavs
Guards: Kobe Bryant, Shannon Brown, Derek Fisher, Jordan Farmar, Sasha Vujacic

Small F's: Ron Artest, Luke Walton, Adam Morrison

Big men: Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom, Andrew Bynum, Josh Powell, D.J. Mbenga

VERSUS:

Guards: Mo Williams, Anthony Parker, Delonte West, Daniel Gibson

Small F's: Lebron James, Jamario Moon, Daniel Green

Why LA will win:
Lakers Big men are MUCH more athletic and MUCH more skilled. Gasol, Bynum, and Odom can all hit jumpers and Odom can even play the small forward spot and hit 3's - Kobe Bryant is virtually unstoppable in the playoffs, enough said - Ron Artest is one of the greatest defensive players ever and should be able to slow down Lebron and allow Kobe to guard the 2nd best player on the CAVS (which is pretty scary considering Kobe is an all-nba-defensive-first-team-player) and When you combine The skilled big men, KOBE, Ron Artest defense, and the lakers explosive bench, i dont think the Cavs or anyone else can match up for 7 games.
