The Lakers look very tough, however, I think it will be the Cavs this year. Lebron is hungry and the Cavs seem to be gelling very well. I think the key difference is the home court advantage.

Lakers is deeper than Cavs, Lebron is very good as individual but Lakers is better as a team.

JMANWILL you are correct in saying he can be defended (shane battier and ron artest did it to him in houston) but we wont see those to and no one can defend him in the playoffs. Even if you do stop him his extra abiliities like facilitating will be over the top and mo and the rest of the Cavs will prevail All for one and one for all
Cavs are the better team and they proved it with their great record. However, NBA is such a game of matchups. Just like inferior teams like the Blazers and the Bobcats gave Lakers problems this year, Lakers is a tough matchup for the Cavs. I predict Lakers in 6.

Well LeBRON is the one for the MVP because he has the highs score. I remember What the league did to KOBE years ago when their give the MVP to STiVE NASH and BRYANT was the one for the MVP, trust me LA will win the final and he could have the MVP either.

hahaha. i'm glad someone was paying attention instead of having an "emotional prediction". Lebron has zero idea how to lead his team to a championship. Last time the Cavs were in the Finals, they were swept aside like the Spurs were playing a highschool team. Experience prevails in the finals.

I think you mean ON the Lakers home court. However, even with the right preposition, this doesn't make sense. This is basketball, not football and one game does not win even a playoff series, much less a championship. Wake me up when the Cavs even win their conference, and then we can talk.

Ultimately, i believe, like im sure 99.7% of the NBA fans out here, that the Finals will be either: Lakers/Cavs, Lakers/Celtics, Lakers/Magic or MAYBE even Lakers/Hawks. With that being said (excluding the Lakers/Hawks matchup) i break it down like this:
Lakers/Cavs
Guards: Kobe Bryant, Shannon Brown, Derek Fisher, Jordan Farmar, Sasha Vujacic
Small F's: Ron Artest, Luke Walton, Adam Morrison
Big men: Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom, Andrew Bynum, Josh Powell, D.J. Mbenga
VERSUS:
Guards: Mo Williams, Anthony Parker, Delonte West, Daniel Gibson
Small F's: Lebron James, Jamario Moon, Daniel Green
Big Men: Shaq, Zyndrunus Ilgauskus, Anderson Varejao, J.J. Hickson, Darnell Jackson
ADVANTAGES:
Guard play: LAKERS
Small Frwd: CAVS
BigMenPost: LAKERS
Why LA will win:
Lakers Big men are MUCH more athletic and MUCH more skilled. Gasol, Bynum, and Odom can all hit jumpers and Odom can even play the small forward spot and hit 3's - Kobe Bryant is virtually unstoppable in the playoffs, enough said - Ron Artest is one of the greatest defensive players ever and should be able to slow down Lebron and allow Kobe to guard the 2nd best player on the CAVS (which is pretty scary considering Kobe is an all-nba-defensive-first-team-player) and When you combine The skilled big men, KOBE, Ron Artest defense, and the lakers explosive bench, i dont think the Cavs or anyone else can match up for 7 games.
Looking like the Cavs are picking up momentum even without Mo and West for the time being...it's going to be an exciting allstar game for sure
